Mamas take mystery out of menopause

.Red Hot Mamas is a licensed menopause management education program that has been used in more than 80 menopause health care settings across the nation and started at Alton hospital in January.Turnout and excitement for the monthly meetings have far exceeded the hospital staff’s expectations, said organizer Susan Means, a labor and delivery nurse. For the first meeting, 50 women showed up. Last month, the number was 97.”I’m shocked by the response,” Means said. “Whatever topic, they always have questions. And they always stay after to talk to the speaker one-on-one.”
