First off, I think it’s important to point out that I have also had issues with hot flashes in the past. Unfortunately not all home remedies work for each individual the same way, and in my case I opted for a natural treatment called Menozac which I spent days researching…more on that later.

However, the following natural remedies for hot flashes I’m about to share with you have already been proven to work for most people, so I recommend you try these treatments first before deciding to go the same route that I did.

Fortunately many women will just have mild intermittent flashes that do not cause much distress, although still discomforting all the same. As I said, we are all different and we lead different lifestyles, therefore some symptoms appear worse than others depending on the individual. I couldn’t sleep for a long time and it was having such a negative impact on my life. It was time to find some natural remedies for hot flashes as quick as possible.

It is important to watch your stress levels at all times. This can be a bit of a catch 22 as I felt more stressed just from the symptoms of hot flashes alone. It is always recommended to figure out what triggers your flashes.

I watch my diet very closely these days and avoid fatty foods at all times. I had a craving for BLT’s when I had a problem with hot flashes but have since cut putting any fatty foods whatsoever into my mouth. I can’t say for sure if this was one of the reasons I cured my problem but I prefer to take no chances as I am far healthier and happier now that I’m free from that nightmare.

Alternative Methods:

I still incorporate all the above tips into my lifestyle (except the acupuncture) and will continue to do so. As natural remedies for hot flashes go, I have tried literally dozens. I am free from hot flashes for close to 2 years now and I believe it is because of my diet change, relaxation techniques and light exercise program I follow on a daily basis.
