Why Do Doctors Like to Prescribe Medicines in Place of Allowing Nature to do its Work?

A few years back I began down the path of menopause. If you don’t grasp what menopause is, it is the change for a lot of women. That moment of life will hand you surprises like you have never seen in the past. Things similar to the fuzz on my face, the expanding of my abdomen, the hot flushes and the nighttime sweats as well. I can’t divulge to you how miserable I became, diarrhea, soaring blood pressure, dry skin, frail nails, poor sleep, weight gain and the roll goes on. For your information, I had a horrible time with menopause, and I did everything that I might imagine of to make it stop.
To my surprise my younger sister began at the same period that I did, and she had to contend with a lot of the same problems I was having. I asked her what it was she was using to help with the signs and I would not believe what she told me. When I asked her what she was using she told me, nothing. That’s correct, nothing. I don't get how on God's green earth someone could contend with all of this, and not be using anything to help in easing the pain. It gets worse. Almost six months afterward she called me on the phone and told me it was over. After she said it was over I had no notion what she was talking about, as I downed my brigade of morning pharmaceuticals. What is over I asked, and she told me her symptoms, all her menopause signs were dead. Just as quickly as they showed up, they were gone.
There I sat, looking at my eight hundred dollars a month lineup of miracle drugs, and she was over and done with. At that time it occurred to me that counting all of my friends that began nearly the identical period, she was the only one that had made it out of the woods, while taking nothing. After a few days of breaking everything in the house, I called her back and I asked her, why? Why in the heck did you do this and why was it successful?
Well she explained her premise to me and I took what she had to say with a grain of salt and a tumbler of water. According to my sister, she is of the opinion that the medical field would much rather have you coming back for more treatment than to have you cured all at once. Her parallel is that of a car repair man. If the station fixes your car right the first time you have no reason to go back and try something else to get it to work. Now imagine if the car parts were similar to medicines, and had a 400,000 % markup, what would your car repairman do?
Nevertheless I had to understand, what about the hot flushes, what about the dreaded menopause night sweats. She explained to me that after some time they mutually eased, and that changing her regimen, together with employing her Bed fan for sweating at night, she was able to manage through the difficult times. Yet the one point that truly stayed with me was her closing deduction. That by allowing her body to perform what God intended for it to do, menopause arrived and left without a hitch.
As a result I took her recommendation and I did the identical things she did, in addition to a little tweak here and there, and I am happy to say, I did it. And now, I too am out of the woods and not far behind my sister. My friends, in contrast, are still taking the pharmaceuticals and wondering, when will it ever stop?
