Solutions For Emotional Health Problems Including Insomnia

Posted on Jan 19, 2010 under Hot Flashes, Menopause, Night sweats, cancer | No Comment

At times people start becoming anxious about their future or even about their present situation. I have read that this can even result in panic attacks.

In my opinion worrying does not help the situation, it only makes things worse. Well it certainly made things worse when I had a stutter – the more I worried, the worse the the stuttering became. I was desperate to find a way that could help me to stop stuttering as I knew this would help me to gain in confidence and have a better quality of life.

Insomnia

I personally had problems with falling to sleep at night due to the amount that I would stress and worry about things – I know that this seems like a crazy thing to be doing and looking back I agree it was – this was just the way in which I was living my life at this stage. Other causes are snoring, an intake of too much caffeine, a noisy environment or depression.

Irritability

When people lose sleep or work to hard they can become over tired and this can lead to irritability. This can cause people to have a higher pulse rate, making their muscles feel tight and can leave people also feeling anxious and lethargic.

It is important to therefore ensure that you obtain a good amount of hours sleep per night (at least seven)and that you only work a certain amount of hours per week. Money is important to people, however in my opinion health should be the priority. I found myself working too hard at one stage for a company which sold composite front doors; this soon started to affect my sleep before I finally realised the mistake that I was making.

Solutions to these emotional health problems

I have come to realise that I need to treat myself from time to time. I have always found it difficult to relax and would often feel stressed and under pressure.

I know what I like and also what I love – it is essential that I enable myself these treats as it certainly enables me to become a much calmer person. These include reflexology, meditation, yoga, aromatherapy and tai chi. Yoga was something which did not really agree with me – I am not really sure why and in reality I will probably give it another go, with perhaps a more positive attitude, in the future.

I am now a far more content, happier person and as a career now work in the jobs in foster care industry. I am sure that other people can also become more self-fulfilled with the help of alternative therapies and additional sleep.

Anxiety Attacks Causes – What Are They & How To Spot Them

Posted on Jan 12, 2010 under Hot Flashes, Menopause, Night sweats, cancer | No Comment

panic attack treatment

Panic attacks, what causes them? Anxiety can be caused by a number of different triggers. You may not have discovered your triggers yet.

When my wife was driving, a certain junction was her trigger. Every time she stopped at that junction, it hit her. She would be a shaking wreck in minutes.

Your panic attacks causes could be anything. But every time it will be a similar thing. Could be a crowded area. Any crowded area will set them off.

Your panic attacks causes may be totally unknown to you. Identifying and knowing your triggers is going to be important. It will be very helpful in your eventual panic cure.

Spotting your trigger can be really helpful. When you start to get control over your attacks. You can see if you’re improving by using these triggers as a test.

I’m getting a little ahead of things here. Talking about getting control and testing. Would you be pleased to learn there are drug free systems you can use to stop these attacks dead?

A simple but powerful technique that you can quickly and safely use to kill any attack dead, before it starts. There are literally thousands of people using this method, almost day in day out. They are now panic attack free and in complete control.

It’s important to point out that this technique is totally without the use of any medication. So, you don’t have to keep shelling out for repeat prescriptions. Or, worry about the potentially nasty side effects.

You can quickly teach yourself these techniques. If you feel an attack looming you start using the techniques you have learned. You probably won’t stop it altogether the first time, but you will get better and better every time.

Let’s go back to tests and triggers. Test your techniques by using your triggers to nearly bring an attack on. Then as you get stronger you simply brush it aside.

Do you want to be a victim for ever? Or do you want to identify your panic attacks causes and learn to control them.
